We are back with another episode and because of technical issues last week, while I was recording from Italy, we (@NYCFCFan and @_ChrisFC) go over that lost content. Also, although it’s the off season we have a lot of news and updates to discuss.

Frank Lampard announces that he leaves New York City FC clearing up a designated spot.. He certainly contributed in his second season with the team ending as our second top goal scorer.

Next Andoni Iraola also announces his retirement just a few days after and although he did not fill the stat sheet his presence controlling the center defense and his personality off the field will truly be missed.

Suddenly with these two players leaving the team and not knowing anything about Mix Diskerud it does leave a large question in the midfield. NYC also has 3 loans players on the team. Are all staying and who should we keep?

Who will be replacing them next season and who will be our 3rd DP? We go through a list of players that could be realistic additions to the team and also look within City Football Group (CFG) to see if there are any players Manchester City could send over as a designated player.

Patrick Vieira is spending his off season with Manchester City and CFG. Other than Vieira meeting with Pep Guardiola to learn more about the training and philosophy CFG is building could he be also looking at their Elite Development Squad (EDS)? Could we possibly take some youth players from there as a loan or purchase for next season?

Although New York City FC is out of the MLS playoffs they have an opportunity to earn a spot in the CONCACAF Champions League if Seattle Sounders FC does not win the MLS Cup. Which leads to the question, which would you prefer New York City FC win…an MLS Cup or the Champions League ?

We wrap up the show with questions from fans, play a “Yes/No” game on players who stay with our team next season and Chris P dedicates a song to our last episodes and Mix Diskerud…
