Scarf Details
On one side of the scarf you’ll find our iconic Subway Tile Mural introduced in 2016. On the opposite side, you’ll find a silhouette of each of the five boroughs.
A Good Cause
For four years NYCFC Nation has brought you match day coverage on our website, in-depth analysis in our weekly podcast (with more on the way!), and all of the latest transfer rumors from around the globe. This year, we wanted to start giving back to you – to the real NYCFC Nation – that makes all of this possible.
We started off by sponsoring the annual benefit for South Bronx United – an exceptional organization that puts the humanity and overall success of their kids (not just success on the field) above all.
Shenanigans all for a great cause. TY @SBronxUnited for having The Nation be a part of a special night and TY to all fans who took time to say hello to us! #SBUAnnualBenefit pic.twitter.com/j1cuGyKDO4

Taking a step further, NYCFC Nation sponsored one of the club’s #AwayDays, which made the March 24th match at New England more affordable and accessible for fans that maybe couldn’t otherwise make the trip.
A big Thank You to @NYCFCNation for their donation towards the bus costs for yesterday’s New England trip. It was a great time with a positive result on the field. #nycfc pic.twitter.com/rlaVXgFFTk

But Wait…There’s More
While the scarf’s design is unique on its own, we here at NYCFC Nation wanted to embrace the culture of community found across every neighborhood in the city. We want to be a reflection of the generous spirit – the “I’ve got your back” attitude that exists in every New Yorker. We at the Nation are ecstatic to announce – in partnership with New York City FC – 100% of the proceeds from this new scarf will be donated to City in the Community NY, the charity proudly supported by NYCFC. Through your purchase, you are directly making a positive impact for the youth of New York City.

About City in the Community NY
Launched in December of 2014, City in the Community (CITC) New York is the 501 (c)(3) foundation proudly supported by New York City FC. With the support of passionate fans, CITC uses the power of soccer to promote health, education and leadership development and create safe community spaces, where programming is free of charge for more than 4,000 young people each week throughout the five boroughs.
CITC New York follows an award-winning model, developed over three decades by City Football Group and its majority owned clubs. The charities share best practice, knowledge and expertise to enhance their impact and understanding.
City Football Group has a long-standing tradition of community initiatives in New York City starting in 2010 when Manchester City FC and the UAE Embassy built a rooftop soccer pitch at PS72 (East Harlem’s Lexington Academy). In 2013, New York City FC was officially launched on that same pitch. Since then, the first-of-its-kind, synthetic grass pitch has provided hundreds of young people a safe place to play soccer and has inspired New York City FC and its partners to begin New York City Soccer Initiative, a commitment to build 50 community soccer pitches in under-served communities over the next five years. By the end of 2018, 20 of these community pitches will be open for play.
